FAQs

Do you have vegetarian or vegan options?

We are very proud to offer vegetarian options, This includes our very own Grass Grazer burger, made with vegetarian chic pea patty, melted American cheese,  lettuce, tomato, Spanish onion, pickles, secret house sauce and mayo. Also Halloumi Ranch salad, Three cheese loaded seasoned fries or cheesy Mozzarella sticks.

Do you cater to Coeliacs or Gluten-Free dietary requests?

We understand the importance of catering safely for guests with Coeliac disease and other gluten-related dietary requirements.

To ensure our menus accurately reflect current legal requirements and prioritise the health and safety of our guests, we have updated our printed menu to identify suitable dishes as Gluten-Free Options (GFO) rather than Gluten-Free (GF).

Where listed, as a gluten free option (GFO), please be aware that the item is NOT 100% free from gluten.

Please ensure you speak to our restaurant manager and advise our restaurant team upon ordering to inform them of any dietary requirements or allergies you or your family has, so they can ensure you are looked after. We take extra care to use clean utensils along with gloves and segregated packaging when any allergy is brought to the restaurantโ€™s attention.

What gluten-free items do you have?

Unfortunately, our kitchen is not a 100% gluten-free environment, and therefore we cannot guarantee that any order is completely free from gluten. However, we offer several menu items that are listed as Gluten-Free Options (GFO)*.

*Please note: Gluten-Free Options (GFO) are NOT 100% free from gluten and may be subject to cross-contact.

While we take the utmost care to accommodate dietary requirements, our kitchen handles a range of allergens and we cannot guarantee the complete absence of traces of allergens in our food.

If you or your client has a life-threatening or anaphylaxis-inducing allergy, Coeliac disease, or requires a strictly gluten-free diet, we DO NOT recommend consuming our food.

Gluten-Free Options

  • We offer Choices GF Super Soft bun as an alternative to our standard burger bun.

  • Our โ€œbareโ€ burger option is served wrapped in lettuce instead of a bun.

  • Our milkshakes are made using a vanilla base and flavoured toppings that are generally low in gluten. However, some mix-ins may contain gluten. Please speak with a member of our team before ordering so we can advise which options should be avoided.

If you have any questions about allergens or dietary requirements, please speak with a member of our team before placing your order.

Is your restaurant halal certified?

OMC Burgers & Bar is not independently halal certified, however our chicken and beef products are certified halal from our suppliers. When preparing grilled chicken or beef burgers, we cook all pork products on a separate hot plate to ensure there is no cross contamination. Unfortunately, our fried products are prepared with equipment that is used in conjunction with pork product preparation.

Can you share your menus kilojoules or calories?

Due to the our large menu range, we are not yet required by law to have our menu recipes measured by industry authorities. We can happily provide you a contents list of each of our menu items in case of allergens but unfortunately, not the specific weights or kilojoules/ calories.

Do you offer dairy free menu options?

Our burger buns contain milk so we would suggest you opt for our GF bun and request we toast the bun without butter to ensure we prepare you a dairy free option. Itโ€™s also worth noting we offer several delicious sauces that are also dairy free.

Are you a licenced restaurant?

Our restaurant is licensed. We serve a selection of Craft beers, wines, spirits, cocktails and ciders.

Does any of your food contain alcohol?

We use a small amount of alcohol when preparing the bourbon bacon jam and chicken ale gravy, however the alcohol content is cooked out during prep. A small trace of alcohol may remain, but not in a large enough quantity to affect a pregnancy or BAC. No other food item contains alcohol.

Does your restaurant offer delivery?

We currently offer online ordering for in-store pickup or Delivery.

For delivery options, you may also refer to an online delivery service. However, please note that these are third party companies, therefore OMC Burgers & Bar does not manage, nor accept responsibility for any possible food spoilage, delayed orders, damaged items or delivery address error.

Why are our smoked burger patties pink inside?

Our burger patties are fully cooked in a large wood-fired smoker before being finished with a high-heat sear. During the smoking process, the meat develops what is known as a โ€œsmoke ringโ€ โ€” a natural pink or reddish colour that forms just beneath the surface of smoked meat.

The pink colour does not mean the burger is undercooked. The grey or brown colour in the centre indicates that the meat has been fully cooked.

Depending on the smoking process, the smoke ring can sometimes extend all the way through the patty, which is completely normal for our smoked burgers.
